What Ketang is
Ketang built its name the way trading towns always do: first the traders came for the goods, then the workshops came for the traders. Today the town's wholesale markets deal in crystals and colored gemstones across the full range — rough material, cut stones, beads and finished jewelry — and around them sits a dense cluster of cutting, polishing, drilling and stringing workshops, including the partner factory JSY represents exclusively overseas.
For a bracelet buyer, a hub like this works differently from a single distant factory. Material from many producing regions is on the ground in one place, prices are set by open competition between neighboring stalls and workshops, and a new stone type or bead size can usually be sampled in days rather than weeks.
What being based here does for your order
- Category breadth: the full range of natural crystal and semi-precious stone bracelets is sourceable through the hub — our eight core stones are stocked lines, and the wider crystal range is available on request.
- Full size range: every standard bead size is worked here daily, and custom sizes can be cut to order.
- Fast, cheap sampling: materials and workshops within walking distance mean samples do not wait on internal shipping between cities.
- Grading where it happens: we select and check material in the hub before production, and again before dispatch — quality is judged at the source of supply, not from photos.
- Honest origins: Ketang is a trading and processing hub, not a mine. We will always tell you plainly what a stone is and how it was treated, rather than sell you an origin story.
